With an average temperature of 62 degrees and 214 days of sunshine, there's no "off season" for the outdoor enthusiast in Center Point!
We have three parks, which provide year round recreational opportunities for the whole family.
There's always a game to either play or watch at the Center Point Ball Park, which covers 27 acres and features six baseball and softball fields, and one football field.
Reed-Harvey Park is our newest park and an ongoing work in progress. With two ponds and a lake, this 17 acre park is built around a natural spring. This wide open, green space has been transformed to include picnic tables, walking trails, a senior center, playgrounds, picnic pavilions, three lakes, an awesome Veteran's Memorial, an amphitheater, and a three story house built in the 1800's to be restored as a home for weddings, family reunions, and more.
The park is open from dusk until dawn.
Enjoy a barbeque with family or friends at Civitan Park. This wooded open space features playgrounds as well as town festivals featuring bands and food vendors.
Center Point Satellite Courhouse Park includes walking trails, tennis courts, softball and baseball fields and a concession stand. There are no restrooms at this park.
The park is open from dusk until dawn.
The Senior Center is open Monday-Friday 9am - 2pm
